Minty.

Last Sunday, Melissa and I drove to Torquay for the day. We had lunch at Pond Cafe which isn't new, but new to me, and boy do I wish I knew about it sooner. We had the most perfect poached eggs on toast with kasundi and great coffee. It's got me even more excited than I already was about a summer down the coast.

I am also excited to debut my new rings, I have become obsessed with layered rose gold and silver, and also fine jewels. Also I can feel a mint obsession coming along, am I a bit behind the times?

Baby blues.

This outfit is somewhat 'back to basics'. Clean and simple items, mixed well with layered jewels and those much loved blue and black hues.

This type of outfit is great to be carried through to spring, and then summer. I'm all about simplicity at the moment, and wearing things that aren't just seasonal.

Melbourne winter is in full force and I am loving it. So much so, I'll be spending January in London and Scandinavia! Hello double winters.

Pana with Stomping Ground and Melissa Findley.

It's no secret that I love cake. Love may even be an understatement! In a dream world, I would eat cake for breakfast every single day. Pana Chocolate was one of the first places that came to mind when Stomping Ground asked me to host them for the day. We went, we ate, we soaked in the energy and left with full bellies and happy hearts!

I avoid dairy due to a diet I follow for my rosacea, I also gave up eating excessive amounts of sugar late last year so Pana has been a god send for me. Raw, organic and vegan!
The shop has a great energy too, the quotes and affirmations are great to explore and open your mind to new ideas. Eating healthy and being positive is a way of life, and that's exactly what they give you all the tools you need for that here.

Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves a treat, without feeling guilty.

Monk with Stomping Ground & Melissa Findley.

A few weeks back, I spent the day with Stomping Ground. Showing Aleesha some of my usual Melbourne haunts and my ideal Melbourne day. Followed closely by Melissa who captured the day.

First stop was Monk Bodhi Dharma. I come here a lot, if you follow me on Instagram you would already know this! Not only do they have a huge vegan menu, the food is delicious and the coffee is amazing, you can even have an almond milk latte. Oh and the chai lattes are INCREDIBLE, super spicy, just how I like them.

More often than not I get the pancakes, but this particular morning I had the quinoa porridge. It was mind blowing!

One thing I will say is don't be turned off if you can't get seated right away. You can sit outside and have coffee whilst waiting! It is quite a small cafe, but honestly so worth the wait.

Spell.

I've had a very abundant year so far and I can honestly say I am the happiest and most confident I have ever been and I think it shows in these photos, which make them even more exciting to share!

I added the Chain Spell ring to my collection for two reasons; one being I don't think I have ever had a chain ring before which excited me and the second because I wanted to complete my clear quartz collection and make it really powerful and unique. This ring adds quite a whimsical element to the mix and made me want to dress a little more feminine than usual too.

I am so grateful for all the amazing oppurtunities that have come my way. Including being guest blogger for Save The Last Pinker and also hosting Stomping Ground for 'A day in the life of Megan & Melbourne.'
Which is in fact how these photos came to be. In the midst of cafe hopping and a trip to the NGV, we took some photos in the gardens of my truly beloved city to showcase my personal style.

Ruby Tuesday.

Thrilled to be wearing the latest Samantha Wills fine range, Masculine V Feminine. Tiny skulls are mixed with sparkling crystals to create the perfect balance of bohemian and luxury.

This project got me thinking if my style of dressing was masculine or feminine and I realised I'm neither here nor there, but yet a fitting mix of both.

The last time I wore rose gold, I was at The Louvre in Paris and now I'm back in Melbourne with a huge desire to rekindle my love for art, history, books, magazines, food, style and photography!

A huge thank you To Samantha Wills and Melissa Findley, two women who hugely inspire me in so many ways.

Cityscape.

Casual Monday afternoon sporting my new Witu bag. When I first saw this bag I fell in love and I couldn't get it out of my mind, so one Saturday after work I headed to Alice Euphemia and splurged! (I also bought a red velvet Karla Spetic playsuit that I can't wait to show you).
