Caramel, orange and coconuts.

Started my Sunday off at Chez Dré with lunch and this magical Caramel Dome treat. Nicole and I then vivited the NGV and walked along Southbank and through the Chinese New Year festivities where we got a coconut and sat by the water overlooking the city. Melbourne really is the best place in the world, I love it with all my heart.

I can still hear you saying you would never break the chain.

Sometimes you need to take a step back and let life unfold. Mine had become so crazy busy and every moment was planned in advance. Work, shoots, dinners and weddings - I needed some me time. I love what I do and I enjoy every moment, but when you let go and live by the moment, extremely fun things happen. And this is what this post is all about!

Sunshine, friends, Fleetwood Mac, rooftop and margarita's.

Bring on summer and all the fun that is to be had! Old friends, new friends, summer holidays and a new love for letting my hair down.

Keep on doing your passion and it'll blossom into something beautiful.

These photos were taken around 7pm one night when I was in Byron Bay. Everything about it was perfect. The weather, the lighting and the warmth of the water. After taking these, I took my skirt off and went for a swim whilst the sun set behind me! Once again in white, I can't get enough of the pureness. It's soft, uplifting and a refreshing change from black.

The title from this post is something a very special friend said to me today, he oozes good energy and positivity. It's motivated me so much that I had to use it and share with others because it's so easy to give up or become disheartened, but having a passion for something (whatever it may be) is the first step to creating something beautiful. So I dedicate this to him because he is always there for me and I appreciate it very much so.

I'm captain of the Millennium Falcon.

As soon as I saw this Han Solo swim, I had to have it. I can't wait to bust it out on the beach this summer, but I couldnt wait that long for it's first outing.

I am in love with the weather at the moment, we are in day two of amazing spring weather in Melbourne at the moment and tomorrow is going to be warm as well. I am a summer baby, I love the heat. I love being able to wear minimal clothing and feel free.

I've also started packing my bags for Byron Bay this coming weekend, I am escaping the Spring Racing Carnival here in Melbourne and going to indulge in some time with my bestie, sun and sand.

Call of Napoleon.

I'm kind of in love with Meli and Steen, have been for quite some time.

Meli makes these amazing videos of Steen working and ever since watching the first one (which you can see HERE!) I've wanted to take photos in front of his art. This was a complete coinsidence, I was just staying in the area, but the skull is the perfect backdrop and these photos are my favourite in quite some time.

I also need to talk about these leggings. Call of Napoleon by Black Milk. They're are intense! I am so in love with them - the print, the colours and the history.
