Bachelorette.

"A bachelorette's party is simply a party, given in honour of the bride to be, in the style that is common to that social circle."

Jasmin and I started talking about her hens party almost immediately after the venue was chosen! A few months down the track I stopped involving her and knew in my mind exactly what I wanted to do for her and I wanted it all to be a surprise.

Jasmin is a beautiful soul. A loving friend who is always there for me when needed, a very hardworking and inspiring mother of two and a genuine human being who deserved to be spoiled and shown how much not only I, but all her friends love her.

When I read the above quote I laughed because the afternoon tea I put on for her is definately our style. Sweet and pretty treats, I went with a pink and red theme as it's super feminine and fun!

Later on in the eve we sat on Madame Brussels rooftop indulging in Martini's and then danced like crazy at the Carlton Club. It was honestly the best day and night! Jasmin was beaming, that's all I could ask for, seeing her so ridiculously happy!

Wearing Vintage bodysuit, K-mart skirt, Samantha Wills and Gazelle rings. (Mine and Jasmin's manicures by Miss Fox!)

If you're planning a party and like the look of my pink and red afternoon tea, here are some tips:

Pina Colada and Raspberry Beret cupcakes from Sticky Fingers Bakery! I highly reccomend this company. Exceptional customer service, prompt, great pricing, everyone raved about the cupcakes and they deliver!

Raspberry, Strawberry & Vanilla and Cherry Blossom & Sake macarons from La Belle Miette! These were an absolute hit, as always. They are my favourite macarons in Melbourne and you can pre order what flavours you like so that they're ready for you when you need them.

All glassware and doilies are vintage, from my local op shop. (Jars/vases collected by myself and Jasmin!)

All candy and oreos from my local supermarket.

Black Forest Cake from Brunetti's.

All plastic plates and napkins from The Reject Shop! (Great colour selection.)

Mixed roses from my garden, carnations from the florist and succulents from Jasmin's house.

Pimms, cucumber, lime, strawberry, bitters and ginger ale.

All other food made by family and friends! (Huge thank you to you all!)

Sun on skin.

Nicole and I drove down to Jan Juc yesterday to get some fresh air, ice cream and sunshine! Chatting all day about things to come and lapping up the spring sun once again. I honestly can't get enough of this weather and am looking forward to summer holidays more than ever before.

I know I'll be living in simplistic, carefree and flattering dresses like this all summer.

Wearing American Apparel dress, Minnetonka moccasins, Karen Walker shades and jewels from Ishka, Greece & Gazelle.

Blue and green should never be seen, except with something in between.

Brunch date at St. Edmonds with Nicole for her birthday! We indulged in the Brioche French Toast (which I always have, but a first for Nicole).

This post introduces my new Lapis Lazuli ring! I am suppose to be saving, but I couldn't resist this carved chunk of blue and gold goodness. I honestly think it was made for me!

Wearing Black Milk leggings, Jeffrey Campbell boots, Nastgal blazer, Bonds t-shirt, Target socks, Dangerfield hat.
Right hand: Both rings from Gazelle.
Left hand: Stacked rings from Ishka and Greece.

Babushki.

Out in Officer on Sunday styling a very raw and rustic shoot for In Season Vintage.
Waiting for the rest of the team to arrive, Joanne and I took some photos down the road from our location.

Whenever I am involved in a shoot I always try to dress accordingly; this shoot being vintage I wore my all time favourite vintage dress. Given to me by one of my best friends, Bec. After posting it on instagram I had so many people ask me where it's from and this is why I love vintage clothing; items become like a blessed jewel because of their exclusively.

Vintage dress, Doc Martens, Samantha Wills bracelets, Samantha Wills Bohemian Bardot Ring in aqua, Turquoise and Amber ring from Gazelle in Centre Place.
