Spell.

I've had a very abundant year so far and I can honestly say I am the happiest and most confident I have ever been and I think it shows in these photos, which make them even more exciting to share!

I added the Chain Spell ring to my collection for two reasons; one being I don't think I have ever had a chain ring before which excited me and the second because I wanted to complete my clear quartz collection and make it really powerful and unique. This ring adds quite a whimsical element to the mix and made me want to dress a little more feminine than usual too.

I am so grateful for all the amazing oppurtunities that have come my way. Including being guest blogger for Save The Last Pinker and also hosting Stomping Ground for 'A day in the life of Megan & Melbourne.'
Which is in fact how these photos came to be. In the midst of cafe hopping and a trip to the NGV, we took some photos in the gardens of my truly beloved city to showcase my personal style.

Salt Lake City, Pt II.

We were in awe of the pink water, but then the sun started to set and we were both losing our minds, I don't even know how we managed to take photos because we were carrying on like it was the first sunset we had ever seen. But, it was so beautiful and I was so thankful to be sharing it with Madeleine.

A sunset doesn't have to be on a tropical beach or a mountain top to make it spectactular. It can be just as special at home or like this, with the Westgate Bridge behind it.

Life is beautiful, and you really have to savour every moment as you only live once, make the most of it and DREAM BIG!

Nudist.

A grey Sunday last week around Brunswick. A mish mash of backdrops because I couldn't choose what I liked better!

This top had me at first sight. I think the fact that it looks and feels like skin had me at hello.

Alexandra.

Another day in my beloved city. I spent Sunday walking around town with my cousin, Celine showing off all my favourite places whilst she shot a short film about 'Megan and Melbourne'.

Salt Lake City, Pt I.

Part one of a wonderful experience, the pink lake at Westgate Park is quite surreal. It's beautiful to see pink water, but quite strange to be in an almost industrial area under the West Gate Bridge.

Sun on skin.

Being behind the lens when my amazingly beautiful friend, Madeleine is shooting is turning into one of my most very favourite places to be. I don't take my photos too seriously, I use a Canon EOS M and use the no flash auto setting, they're not edited and what you see is what you get. When Madi and I shoot I feel like I am continuously laughing in between shots and the glow shows in my photos. Real friends make your heart beat true.

Happy days.

Shot in a back laneway of Fitzroy just before a dinner with some of my closest girlfriends at Vegiebar.
The Easter long weekend has been fabulous. Just the right amount of friends, family and indulgent food! I also made the most of some downtime and also the new shops in Melbourne, H&M and Uniqlo.

Soy chai.

My friend Mel's been in town over the last few days and it's been amazing catching up with her. Today we had lunch at Hardware Societe, followed by a chai latte (and one to take away) from Manchester Press. Two places I rate highly if you're in the CBD.

If you haven't noticed, this Sanctuary Cape has become my latest obsession. It's perfect for those kind of days where you need that little somethin' somethin' to cover your shoulders.
