Free spirited.

I was lucky enough to spend a day in Byron Bay with two of my best friends! We had coffee, chilled on the beach and got smoothies.

This post is a huge step for me, in the sense that I never show off my body nor have I ever felt comfortable doing so. But one of my 2012 resolutions was to let go and live a little, life is too short to not be a free spirit.

Shirts and stripes.

Dinner date with my friend Mel in Byron. We went to the Oriental Express Eatery and had the most amazing dumplings, satay and calamari you could imagine.

When I was packing I envisioned this outfit in my head before wearing it, which is something I very rarely do. I had been searching for the perfect top to go with my beetlejuice leggings and this Cue shirt softens the craziness of the leggings.

Happy new year to you all! Thanks for all your comments and support during 2011, I really appreciate it. I am really looking forward to 2012!

These photos are from my birthday dinner last week. Last minute choice of oufit, not unlike my usual choice of black and shapeless. I've had this Cheap Monday dress for a while, I bought it off Nastygal this time last year and after months of shelf time I feel it's going to be a new favourite.

Second stop, Jasmin's house to have tea and play with her babies Miller and Oskar.

Two things i thought of when wearing this outfit, I need to get my jeans taken up and I really love this clutch.

Christmas is fast approaching and I am so looking forward to time off work spent with family, friends and my mate.

Brunching today with my friend Mel, I always have so much fun with her and although she is one of my friends who has known me for the least amount of time, I feel she knows me better than most. I always say... She just gets me.

Wearing a mish mash of pieces today as the weather has been so unreliable. Also, I've put myself on a one month shopping ban. So everything you've seen the last few weeks is recycled.
