LA/NY.

An overcast Sunday spent in Fitzroy. Long lunch at Yong Green Food followed by a coffee at Grace. An afternoon well spent with Nicole. I am thrilled to be on holidays even though I've had a lot of time off this year, I'm excited to spend precious time in my beloved Melbourne.

I've been so into black and white the last couple of months and I don't see the obsession moving on. Hello, monochromatic summer. (Maybe).

But I'd be happiest with you.

Happy socks, happy mind. There is nothing not be loved about these fun loving and colourful socks that can brighten up any day. I cant wait to wear my new socks with a cute mini dress and my pistol boots in the coming  months, but this shoot was all about fun so I've taken you on a little adventure, in and around my house.

Be happy, feel happy and always be true to yourself.

Bear hug.

Ever since I can remember, I've loved shapeless dresses. Yes, they come with mixed reviews, but I find them so mysterious and fun.

I went to Monk House Design because I saw this dress on their Instagram and when I tried it on, I knew it was for me. The awkward length, colour and teddy bear feel all just felt so right.

Thievery.

It's very rare that I come across a cafe by chance, usually I have heard about it beforehand or seen it on Instagram. So when I was at an exhibition (part of the Fringe Festival with my boss a little while ago) I saw Breakfast Thieves and had to go! It was such an amazing place with an amazing menu. I haven't been back yet, but I will! And I highly recommend. The chai latte was exceptional!

Oh, Melbourne.

I've been spending so much time this side of town. The view from behind Hamer Hall is so gorgeous, I go and have a peek now everytime I'm at the gallery. I find the gardens and galleries my happy place now, it's new to me, I never before just went down to escape, but lately I find myself doing it a lot. And it always inspires me.

Little Big Sugar Salt.

I came accross LBSS on Instagram. Took my friend Jasmin there and we loved our meals. I had the pecorino croquettes with poached egg, chorizo and jalapeno. The menu has now changed, so I have to get back as soon as possible! Did someone say acai bowl?!

Billy Bob.

I've spent the last week living in Fitzroy. The sombre weather discouraged me from exploring it as much as I'd like, although I know it well, I was looking forward to seeing it in a new light. I guess that will have to wait.

I did, however eat at Yong Green Food for the first time and then a handful of times after that. Such an incredible place and I can feel the withdrawals coming along already on my first night home.

As much as I love being home in my own bed with full access to my wardrobe, I am beyond excited to head to Sydney for the long weekend with a bag of summer clothes in tow.

Vegie Bar.

There are way too many words to describe how much I love and enjoy Vegie Bar.
I've been going for as long as I can remember and it's always a good time. Pictured above are the raw taco's, one of their newer dishes and the green juice, which was a special.

Highly recommend Vegie Bar, even  if you're not vegan or vegetarian the food is amazing and you will leave with a full belly and a happy heart!
