Nicole took these photos for me a couple of days ago whilst taking a break in Jan Juc. We had grand plans of doing things differently to usual and actually going out at night, but when we got there we realised the fridge and hot water service were broken. It did however make me realise how good it is to cuddle up with your bestie on a couch watching movie after movie after movie.

Feeling refreshed, happy and ready to celebrate my birthday tonight as tomorrow I turn 26.

Hopelessly Devoted to You.

I don't quite know how this shoot came together, Stephanie and I both wanted to do something different to what we had been doing and I had just came across Lana Del Rey - Born to Die thanks to a handsome friend. I was in this almost dream state, feeling whimsical and romantic, listening to Radio at least five times a day! Another night, with the same handsome friend, I wore a beautiful dress with a train made by my friend Joanne so I got her to custom make one for this shoot, using Italian Tulle as I'd fallen in love with the fairy like feel of trains and tulle.

What I love most about Hopelessly Devoted to You is everything (except one white lace American Apparel bralette and a Topshop hat) is handmade and designed right here in Melbourne and since I've been styling shoots, I've loved getting to know all the amazingly talented people here and they have been so generous with lending me product to work with.

I hope you love this set as much as I do.

It's hard to believe that yesterday we had beautiful sunshine as today is so wet and gloomy. I'm looking forward to being in sunny Darwin in a few weekends and escaping the Winter for some warmth and sun.

Loved wearing white for a change. This Mink Pink knit has inspired me to be more fearless when it comes to white clothing.

Minotaur.

I've always been so fascinated by Greek mythology.

Some of my favourite stories include Narcissus, Minotaur and anything involving Athena! So whenever I wear a piece of jewellery I bought in Greece I feel so happy and reminded of how amazing it is that I have been to a country and seen history that I so greatly admire - I am quite materialistic in this sense.

We wanted to create a 90's inspired feel using Black Milk pieces but it still be modern and raw. I've seen some of the final photos and they are amazing!
