Crooning.

A group of my friends and I (seven to be exact!) went out for brunch on Anzac day and ended up at La Belle Miette for afternoon tea.

If you haven't been, I highly reccomend you do. I've tried every flavour and they're all delicious, but my favourites at the moment are cherry blossom with sake and earl grey with chocolate! Accompanied with a cup of the Mariage Frères Marco Polo tea they serve.

Girls, girls, girls!

I posted one of these photos on Instagram last week with the caption - Is there anything better than dressing up for brunch with the girls?

I honestly love it, these photos were taken post brunch date at St. Edmonds last week.

Wanderlust - An impulse, desire or urge to travel or wander.

Friday morning I visited the Samantha Wills Wanderlust preview at the Olsen on Chapel st. I was very excited to recieve the invite a while back to get a glimpse of the upcoming collection! I am also excited to be able to share some with you.

The collection is mind blowing. There are so many pieces I want, not only because they're statement pieces but because it's all so layerable!
Key colours include lapis blue (you know how I feel about this!), mustard, turquoise along with rose gold.
A lot of the trademark Samantha Wills Bohemian Bardot styles and desirable sets that I truly wont be able to resist. I've started saving, so should you.

Hope you enjoy my photos of the Wanderlust collection coming out June/July. Follow me on instagram: megandesmond for some more photos I took on my iPad.

Also pictured above some of the bridal range.

Huge shout out to Becc for the invite, it was great to meet you and I look forward to the next time.

Photos by myself and Becc Naumovska.

What a wicked game you played to make me feel this way.

Friday nights are usually very quiet for me, but the last two I've spent out with friends and had such fun!

I've had this dress for years, but I think it's fair to say it's my all time favourite. It's everything I look for in a piece of clothing! Slimming, statement, stylish, different, shows skin without being revealing and I always feel like Stevie Nicks when wearing it. I got it off Nastygal, but the brand is Timepiece available to buy online HERE! I am in love with the caps and colour block tunics.

Love is all you need!

I had breakfast at De Clieu Monday morning with two lovely ladies to throw around ideas for an upcoming shoot.

After coffee I asked my very talented friend Meli to take some shots for me on my camera! She has an amazing photography style and I am super excited to be working on a couple of projects with her in the next month or so. You can see her real work HERE!

Windfall Jewellery by Lani Williams.

I came across Windfall on Instagram a while back and it was love at first sight (I have previously blogged the Rattlebones collection HERE!) Handmade in Melbourne by the very talented Lani Williams. She let me visit the Windfall studio based in her home; not only to see the new collection, but to get an insight as to how her work is created.

If I had my way I would be decked out in Windfall everyday! Not only are the pieces unique, you could literally buy the whole collection and layer upon layer. It all works so well together! My latest favourites are the Frank and Billy Goat rings which I would wear along with the stackers.

Stackers.

The amazing thing about Windfall is you can also have something special made with a custom order.
(I already  have something in mind that I want created!)
Pictured below is Lani working on a comissioned piece.

If you're a follower you will know I am very passionate about my jewellery and that I've travelled the world to find my most treasured pieces. I can easily say that Windfall has taken over my number one spot for jewellery. I love the Rattlebones and Me & a friend collections and am beyond excited to see what Lani has in store for us next. When asked what was to come she said "Definately more animals and even dinosaurs!"

Frank the Bunny Ring.

Curse of the Billy Goat ring.

Max the Boxer, Deer Death and Daisy the Cow rings.

Me & a friend was just released last week.
"Melbourne based jewellery designer Lani Williams, draws inspiration from one of her favourite things on the planet: animals. The collection is made up of 6 animals each available in a ring or necklace, except for Chucho The French Bulldog, he is only available as a necklace."

Above are my favourite picks and I am saving to buy them all.
Available to buy online HERE!

Bells and bees.

Nicole and I went to the coast Good Friday and went straight to Bells to see some of the Rip Curl Pro.

Unfortunately we got there a bit late and only got to see the last 5 minutes of the mens final, but I guess it's better than nothing. I'm still amazed by the crowd! We had to park and walk for 20 minutes just to get to the beach, it was insane.
