Bachelorette.

"A bachelorette's party is simply a party, given in honour of the bride to be, in the style that is common to that social circle."

Jasmin and I started talking about her hens party almost immediately after the venue was chosen! A few months down the track I stopped involving her and knew in my mind exactly what I wanted to do for her and I wanted it all to be a surprise.

Jasmin is a beautiful soul. A loving friend who is always there for me when needed, a very hardworking and inspiring mother of two and a genuine human being who deserved to be spoiled and shown how much not only I, but all her friends love her.

When I read the above quote I laughed because the afternoon tea I put on for her is definately our style. Sweet and pretty treats, I went with a pink and red theme as it's super feminine and fun!

Later on in the eve we sat on Madame Brussels rooftop indulging in Martini's and then danced like crazy at the Carlton Club. It was honestly the best day and night! Jasmin was beaming, that's all I could ask for, seeing her so ridiculously happy!

Wearing Vintage bodysuit, K-mart skirt, Samantha Wills and Gazelle rings. (Mine and Jasmin's manicures by Miss Fox!)

If you're planning a party and like the look of my pink and red afternoon tea, here are some tips:

Pina Colada and Raspberry Beret cupcakes from Sticky Fingers Bakery! I highly reccomend this company. Exceptional customer service, prompt, great pricing, everyone raved about the cupcakes and they deliver!

Raspberry, Strawberry & Vanilla and Cherry Blossom & Sake macarons from La Belle Miette! These were an absolute hit, as always. They are my favourite macarons in Melbourne and you can pre order what flavours you like so that they're ready for you when you need them.

All glassware and doilies are vintage, from my local op shop. (Jars/vases collected by myself and Jasmin!)

All candy and oreos from my local supermarket.

Black Forest Cake from Brunetti's.

All plastic plates and napkins from The Reject Shop! (Great colour selection.)

Mixed roses from my garden, carnations from the florist and succulents from Jasmin's house.

Pimms, cucumber, lime, strawberry, bitters and ginger ale.

All other food made by family and friends! (Huge thank you to you all!)

Everything about this day was so enjoyable, but the extra special decorations around the house and on the tables etc., were as lovely live as they look in your photos. Well done
