United we stand.

A week ago I flew up to Sydney to attend the United We Stand campaign launch hosted by Samantha Wills and Mount Franklin, in support of the McGrath foundation. It was such an amazing event to attend, very moving and inspiring. As women we need to be smart, strong, and supportive. That is what this cause/collection is about.

Jane McGrath was 31 when diagnosed with breast cancer, and was a warrioress when it came to determination to create the foundation and help others in need. Her legacy is what we celebrated and every time you buy a bottle of Mount Franklin or a Samantha Wills piece you are contributing to her dream that every woman with breast cancer would have their own nurse.

Post coffee date at Common Galaxia with Nicole on a chilly Sunday. I have been wanting to check it out for a while, I had the Reuben sandwich which was incredible and they have great coffee too.

I bought this outfit for a dinner date and have found myself wearing it numerous times since! I was so excited to find a knit that was chic, and the mesh sleeved top will see me through winter and spring.

Flinders.

Justin and I met a few years back at a Black Milk shoot in Brisbane. On a family trip to Melbourne, he offered to shoot me for my blog. We only had an hour so after a quick coffee in Centre Place we walked around the Flinders Street station area and he took some photos of me in my hometown as we chatted about all things Melbourne!

A grey Sunday last week around Brunswick. A mish mash of backdrops because I couldn't choose what I liked better!

This top had me at first sight. I think the fact that it looks and feels like skin had me at hello.

Bye, Pt I.

I've wanted to showcase some Emily Bye pieces on here for a while now. Thanks to a cancelled shoot I was styling and the help of my friend Jasmin, we were able to take a few photos before returning the pieces to designer Emily. Worn over a singlet like I have, a silk shirt or a little black dress, the harnesses are a great addition to any wardrobe. And what makes them even more awesome is that they're made in Melbourne!

Ultra light.

Blue skies, sunshine and ice cold breezes in Melbourne on Anzac Day. Nicole and I slept in and when we woke up looked through our photos from Gallipoli and reminisced about our day spent there followed by brunch at Monk Bodhi Dharma and some fresh air down at Brighton Beach. 

Anyway, let's talk about my outfit. This puffer coat is the best thing that's ever happened to me! It's an ultra light down coat from Uniqlo! I now want to get it in grey and also a shorter version, oh and the vest! I've never felt so warm and comfortable in my life and I love the look of it too. 

I never thought I'd ever own a puffer coat, but luckily I have an open mind when it comes to fashion.
