I'm back!

Well, a lot has happened since my last post!

I had my baby, Poppy, early August and have been busy being a mum ever since!
I found it hard to balance everything at the start, I didn't leave the house for over a month and then I was a bit nervous to. But now, 6 months later we've got a nice groove going and can get out for lunches, drives, walks, and visit friends and family.

Life is very different, I don't wear jewellery, I'm two sizes bigger and everything I wear has to be breastfeeding friendly! So I haven't blogged my outfits as I basically live in oversized tees and leggings (for now). I also haven't had my hair done for 4 months, when once upon a time it was a 6 weekly treat. It is an adjustment, and sometimes I barely recognize myself, but I have a healthy and happy baby and that's all that matters!

I've also been busy working on my house. Simple things take a long time, but slowly it's all coming together. I have a new interest in plants and gardens, and am very much enjoying South Melbourne market and Queen Vic market for good food, coffee, flowers, and stocking up on fruit and veg!

I still want to blog, for the simple reason that I've always loved doing so. I love taking and editing photos and sharing things I love! Whether people read it or not, it's a story of my life so far and good for me, and now my daughter too, to look back on one day. I don't think I want to blog my baby, I feel if she wants to do it one day she can decide when she's at the right age. But will post on my new interests, cafes and mum life! And maybe house and garden too.
