Minty.

Last Sunday, Melissa and I drove to Torquay for the day. We had lunch at Pond Cafe which isn't new, but new to me, and boy do I wish I knew about it sooner. We had the most perfect poached eggs on toast with kasundi and great coffee. It's got me even more excited than I already was about a summer down the coast.

I am also excited to debut my new rings, I have become obsessed with layered rose gold and silver, and also fine jewels. Also I can feel a mint obsession coming along, am I a bit behind the times?

Warrioress.

When I flew to Sydney for the Samantha Wills and Mount Franklin event for the McGrath foundation I had no idea how moved I would be from the evening.

I am lucky enough at the moment to not know anyone close to me with breast cancer, but it's all around us and it could attack myself or my loved ones at any moment.

I feel honoured to wear this tee, and to support this cause because the more we talk about breast cancer, the more awareness we create.

I will be honest and admit that I hate talking about cancer. I lost my aunty to a brain tumor well before her time.  She was the love of my life and I still get heartache every day at the thought of her, her pain, what she went through and how much I miss her.

This event and this cause made me feel very empowered. To break through these selfish fears and stand here in this top PROUD to talk about breast cancer.

Check your breasts. Tell your mum, sisters, and friends to do the same. Take the time to educate yourself on breast cancer. Think pink and buy products that support the McGrath foundation. AND if you know someone who is going through treatment for breast cancer talk to them, show you care.

You too can wear this top and show your support available at http://www.samanthawills.com//mountfranklin $30 from your purchase will go to the McGrath foundation.

United we stand.

A week ago I flew up to Sydney to attend the United We Stand campaign launch hosted by Samantha Wills and Mount Franklin, in support of the McGrath foundation. It was such an amazing event to attend, very moving and inspiring. As women we need to be smart, strong, and supportive. That is what this cause/collection is about.

Jane McGrath was 31 when diagnosed with breast cancer, and was a warrioress when it came to determination to create the foundation and help others in need. Her legacy is what we celebrated and every time you buy a bottle of Mount Franklin or a Samantha Wills piece you are contributing to her dream that every woman with breast cancer would have their own nurse.

To shop the collection head over to www.samanthawills.com/shop/mountfranklin - My picks are the Aztec Bohemian Bardot rings and the Warrioress t-shirt! A generous donation from each piece goes towards funding of breast care nurses throughout Australia.
For more information on the McGrath foundation, and how you can make a difference, please head over to www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au

That delicious Spanish sun.

Walking back to our hotel along the marina in Barcelona after dining at 7 Portes. I had my very first paella and loved every mouthful.
Barcelona is a magical city. The weather, the lifestyle, the vibrancy and most of all the art.

Looking at these photos now I am yearning for the heat and the sun on my skin.

Louvre Love.

I've always loved rose gold. I'd say because my Mum wears it and I've always admired it.
I wanted this rose and peach set when I first laid eyes on it and this bangle (which is from the latest collection Midnight Sunrise) also stole my heart with it's tiny turquoise bohemian bardot stone.

It was such a thrill to flaunt my Samantha Wills jewellery through Europe. I  love Australian labels and wearing it always made me feel like I was wearing a little piece of home.

The Louvre is a fantastic place, both times I have been it's been ridulously sunny and the pyramid shines, it seems to blend in with the blue skies and clouds. The amount of art inside is mind blowing and somewhat overwhelming, you seriously need at least two days to see it all and to be able to enjoy it. The Mona Lisa is magical. Tiny in size, but huge in charisma.
