Abbotsford.

I have built a small collection of beautiful clear quartz and silver rings over the last month thanks to Save The Last Pinker . Which got me thinking of my ever growing collection of black, grey and denim clothing! I use to dress so flamboyantly, but something in me just switched. Maybe age? Maybe lifestyle? I'm not sure, but I do know that I am enjoying the more chic style of dressing. 

The fact remains though, that jewellery never goes out of style. No matter what stone or what shape you can always wear colour with jewellery even if your outfit is newspaper toned. 

What I love about these 3 pieces is that you can wear them with a formal outfit and it would look elegant or an everyday look like I have here and they look effortless and casually thrown on!

Happy days.

Shot in a back laneway of Fitzroy just before a dinner with some of my closest girlfriends at Vegiebar. 

The Easter long weekend has been fabulous. Just the right amount of friends, family and indulgent food! I also made the most of some downtime and also the new shops in Melbourne, H&M and Uniqlo.

Tutankhamun.

Athens really is one of my favourite cities.

I often talk about it and people usually tell me they hate it. Which saddens me! Yes, it is not the most glamorous city. A lot of the locals are a little crazy (I prefer to say 'colourful') and it is a concrete jungle, but it has the best jewellery shops, frappes, delicious Greek food and most hotels have a rooftop so you can bask in the sunshine. I never do much other than shop, eat, drink, sunbake, explore the Acropolis and just enjoy the extrememely wild and carefree ways of the Greeks. And the best thing is, it rubs off on you! I wore no make up most days and I think I wore the same dress (almost) everyday!  

All the jewellery I have on in these photos I bought whilst in Athens. I gave myself a limit of 3 and I left with 6 and a pair of earrings.

Parwan.

I've only been to Amsterdam twice and the first time, stumbled across this awesome jewellery shop and bought the most amazing Lapis lazuli ring (see picture 6). We were hoping to find it again, but were unsure of the actual address. Lucky us, because we did!

Parwan, located in the 9 shops region on the corner of Herengracht and another street, which I unfortunately can't tell you because I had the card in my beloved travel diary which I sadly lost. If you love jewellery PLEASE try and find this shop, you won't regret it.

Jewels of the week.

I am in love with my new jewels!
The Samantha Wills Cassius Coin ring is so much more amazing in real life and such a good size to layer with other rings and chunky bracelets/cuffs.

The second photo are some rings i purchased at Spellbox earlier this week, I was in the need of some Crystal healing and eyed these off when i was in the store. I was drawn to the Tiger eye and Amethyst, both of which i don't own in any other pieces. 

Also very excited to find a pinky ring!
